THRIFT SHOP SATURDAY

Saturday, October 6, the ECR Thrift Shop will be openfrom 10-1, as it is almost every Saturday. Regular hours for the thrift shop are 10-1, Mondays through Fridays. Besides helping refugees in partnership with Refugee Services of Austin, the thrift shop has great deals on all sorts of stuff. All profits benefit ECR.

NEW SCHEDULE FOR ADULT FORUM ANNOUNCED
SUNDAYS AT 9:30 IN CLASSROOM #4
This fall, seminarians Laura Masterson and Radha Kaminski will lead adult forum conversations about the practice of prayer. Expect a few intermittent lessons from Fr. Nathan Jennings as well--he is our theologian-in-residence, after all. We hope you'll join us on this journey as we examine spiritual practices and prayers ranging from ancient times to today. Adult forum always takes place between our Rite I and Rite II services at 9:15am in Classroom #4.

ANNOUNCING THE 2018 TURKEY BASKET DRIVE
Hard to believe the holidays are right around the corner. For the past few years, ECR has had a Thanksgiving food basket drive to help 150 families in our neighborhood. Between now and Friday, November 16th, we'll collect the fixings for a Thanksgiving dinner, in addition to cash donations and gift cards. On Sunday, November 18th, the baskets will be assembled and delivered. More details coming soon.
