WHAT'S HAPPENING AT ECR?

We have many ways to get the word out about how our church community serves God and His people through our many ministries, and what is currently happening within those ministries. The drop down topics in this section take you directly to our most current publications within ECR, - the MidWeek E-newsletter, Radiant Cross monthly publication, and a "real-time" church calendar which shows all scheduled events. Another wonderful way to find out "What's Happening" is to visit with us, so we may have the privilege of meeting and welcoming you and personally answer any questions you may have. We are always asking "What is Not Happening at ECR", so we can find new ways to extend our ministry and put God's love into action in ways we might have overlooked.

Additional Exciting Stuff........

1. Our new and expanded parking lot is completed offering a much more welcoming campus for visitors and parishioners alike. Landscaping, signage and finishing touches will be delayed due to our severe drought and heat conditions.

2. ECR has a new part-time Youth & Family Minister, Susan Burnham. We have begun an active, and exciting Youth program for 2011-2012. Susan was our seminarian at ECR this past year and has extensive experience working with youth.

3. ECR welcomes Jesse Vedanti as our seminarian for 2011-2012. Jesse is in her middle year at the Southwest Theological Seminary in Austin and will be doing her field work at ECR. She will be involved in the daily life and work of ECR under Fr. Jim's tutilege.

5. We have initiated a Game Day the fourth Saturday of each month which is open to all in our surrounding communty and anyone else wishing to have a fun Saturday afternoon in the Parish Hall. The Thrift Shop is open until 5 PM on Game Day.

6. Coming Up before you know it: Parish Weekend Retreat -October 7th-9th, Concert Series at ECR continues October 9th, and Holiday Fair on November 11th.
